Graphic Design Samples with Adobe Photoshop

The following designs were created as packaging for my personal music collection only. While I attempted to give these designs as commercial a look and feel as possible, these discs were never sold at any time.

I'm sorry Max, but someone had to go.
One of my favorite photos of John Lennon, ruined by my Photoshopping. No matter how good a job I do, it still looks weird with my head on another body. A great photo which was relegated to the booklet for 'Time's Up'
The source photo is from Robert Whittaker's photo book, without the 'Rubber Soul' logo, and in monochrome, not color. Another cool booklet photo, this time from 'Whitechocolatespaceegg'
I don't know if there's an easy Photoshop way to achieve the reflection on this cover, but it took me forever to get the perspective right. If rock bands needed group passport photos, this is what they'd look like. A super-groovy photo from the 'Last Splash' booklet.
The theme is photos of rockers who don't normally smile in photos.
Of course R.E.M. is not going to put themselves on the cover of their album, so I did it for them. From the booklet for 'Out Of Time'. It was a bizarre coincidence that the photo I wanted to use from the 'Tumbleweed Connection' booklet had the number '89' in it- I just rotated the '9' 180 degrees, and presto, Mix 86! I created this cover back when I was printing the packaging on an ink jet printer. The cool effects didn't print well, so I'll have to reprint it on a color laser printer this time.
